Why do we blink less when looking at screen?

I've been googling about it, but i don't find a clear answer. I have this problem as well. I can even go 1-2 mins without blinking when i'm on my computer. And it can be very bad for my eyes if i stare at a screen at night. My eyes become painful to open in the morning. I assume it's dry eye related or eye strain. Perhaps i need glasses? I've started using eye drops, but i think it's better to get habit of blinking my eyes every 2-4 seconds when i'm on my computer, but it's really hard to remind yourself
