Good Morning everyone.
I use Celluvisc and various other gel based eye drops to fill my Scleral lenses.
I find thinner drops get 'contaminated' during the day, and I suffer midday fogging.
Problem I have, is that the viscosity of the Gel means there are micro-bubbles held in the formula.
They're small enough to stay in suspension, and this results in grain-of-sand size air bubbles in the lens.
My eyes are not good enough without the lens in, to see them, so I'll often have $10 of liquid, and 20 inserts per eye, to get a 'clean fill'.
Does anyone have any tips to remove these micro bubbles?
I was considering a low speed centrifuge.
Thanks for any help!
