I had SmartSurfACE trans PRK done 14 months ago to correct my shortsightedness and astigmatism.
Correction went well and I can see very well now, all have healed too.
I recall my eye surgeon saying that I would need to wear sunglasses on sunny days while my eyes are healing, which is understandable and I did wear them then consistently.
However, as my eyes have fully healed by now, do I still need to continue wearing sunglasses on sunny days for the rest of my life?
I know that it’s the best practice to do so anyway, even without eye surgery, so protect delicate eyes from UV damage.
However, post surgery, if I forget to wear sunglasses now, will it cause damage to my eyes?
