I’ve had 2 styes in my left eye. The first one was about a year ago. I went to the doc. They said to use a hot compress on the eye and also gave me a antibiotic ointment. The infection went away, but I was left with a tiny bump still there. I went back to the doctor, they said there’s nothing to do but use the hot compress. After at least a month of using the compress the little bump was still there. I decided to just live with it. That was about a year ago. Now I got another stye on my left eye, upper lid this time. The infection is down. It’s mostly gone but there’s still a residual bump. Again I’m doing warm compresses several times a day and this time got steroid and antibiotic eye drops. Any one have advice on how to get rid of these stubborn but small bumps, that won’t go away?
