Late last night I noticed some discomfort in my left eye, felt as if something was in it, like an eyelash. I rubbed my eye but the discomfort persisted through the night and into today. Not much discomfort when my eyes are closed, but can feel it when i look around or blink. I took a flashlight to my eye and see a tiny white circle in the darker circle surrounding the pupil (the iris?). I put my contacts in and it actually made the discomfort go away for an hour or so but now its back and its really annoying as now im constantly blinking.
Are there any treatments for this? Next steps for me?

EDIT: After doing some google image searching, I might be wrong. I'm noticing the marks on Google to be in the whites of the eye, not the biggest circle within the whites. Any idea what this could be then?
