The lady helping me before the exam, tried to take photos of the back of my eyes like usual and couldn’t get usable photos. The doc who performed my exam (remotely, I should add) recommended I see an in-house ophthalmologist to get a dilated retinal evaluation.
I plan on calling tomorrow and getting this set up, but in the mean time, should I be worried? They said it’s just to make sure there’s no underlying health issues blocking the ability to take the pictures like they usually do. I don’t have any issues with my eyes, but usually they just take the pictures and it’s done and I’m good until next year. Do I stress about this?
