I went to an eyeglasses' store because I couldn't see with my old glasses and did the test. But there was some complication with the eye test so they told me I need a real eye doctor so they sent me to a clinic. The optometrist there looked at a test I did with them last year and said my vision hadn't change that much and that there is no need for an eye test (she didnt thoroughly examine my eyes like the opticians in the store said she should, she just made me read alphabets for her).
So I bought my glasses but then I quickly realised I didn't see well with them. I told it to the store I bought my glasses from and they did my eye test again and told me I need higher prescription according to their test and that it is why they sent me to the clinic. I went back to the clinic made them redo my test and they did. The optometrist quickly looked at the results and said she still doesn't think I should change them because if I change it, then my eyes might get worse and if I change again it will just keep getting worse etc. She said that my real vision problem is corrected by the glasses I have, and the reason I don't see well is because of lights and other issues. She told me that she as an optometrist recommend me to keep my glasses. After a discussion with my dad, he told me to listen to her and we both came to the conclusion that there is no reason for her to tell me BS since she has no connection to the store. Now the time for my right of exchange is running out in 10 days and I was just watching tv now and realised I don't see the subtitles well and I kinda got paranoid. What should I do?
