I just got my first pair of glasses today. I'm 35 and have never had them before. The clarity especially in my right eye is amazing. But I'm having a weird distortion. where my computer screen looks trapezoidal and some edges look slanted. I know there is an adjustment period but is this what they mean? Will things eventually straighten out or is this just kinda the trade off. With the glasses I could read the 20/20 line easily with both eyes, without I couldnt read the 20/40 line with my right ( but could barely with my left) so overall I am happy I just hope this weird distortion thing is temporary.
