My current prescription from the optometrist is SPH: -1.50 for both eyes and CYL -0.75 for my right eye and CYL -0.50 for my left, with 180 axis for both. However, I noticed that the autorefractor measured my CYL at -2.50 in both eyes for some reason. My visual acuity corrected is 20/20, but I sometimes notice some minor up and down ghosting in my vision. It is more apparent without my glasses but sometimes occurs with my glasses. The severity varies (it seems to come and go), and when I blink or yawn it seems to improve it somewhat. Can dry eyes cause these issues as well as throw off the autorefractor reading (I do recall my eyes were quite dry when they did the reading)? Maybe I am just paranoid but I am just worried that I have a ton of astigmatism that is left uncorrected.
