So I got my eyes checked out and they don't need any correction, but I was given a prescription to get glasses with some sort of coating to try for night driving.
So, I finally back to the optometry office to order them and they want $390 just for the lenses? Mind you, these lenses just need to send light through, they don't need to refract it in any way, they don't need to be made out of one of the super-thin expensive lens materials, etc. What I need is as basic as it gets, really. How can they cost this much?
Does the person selling you glasses get a commission? Is that why it's so much?
