A few weeks ago in the middle of the day I started having double vision. The ophthalmologist sent me for a CT and MRI both of which came back clear. She says I have Decompensated Esophoria and prescribed 20 diopter prism glasses. I go back in 6 months to see if my measurements remain and will hopefully be able to have surgery to correct.
Is there any concern wearing prism glasses all the time. I've read that it may slowly get worse. Are there any exercises that may help? Any other concerns I should have? I'm nervous that this came on all of the sudden and I am nearly 40.
