Celebrate National Eye Exam Month at Mann Eye Institute!

Mann Eye Institute has all of the eye care services you need, all under one roof! So this August (also known as National Eye Exam Month), get scheduled to make sure your eyes are happy and healthy for years to come!

Medical Eye Exam

When it comes to ophthalmic care, Mann Eye Institute has been providing excellent care to our patients for over 40 years. If you need to get a medical eye exam done, we would be honored to be the practice you choose to invest in your vision’s health.

How do you know if you need a medical eye exam? Great question! The American Board of Ophthalmologists recommends that anyone 40 years of age or older gets their baseline exam done as soon as possible. This ensures your doctor has a snapshot of what your eyes look like so we can track your eye health over the years. After your first medical eye exam, your doctor will recommend when your next checkup should be based on your eyes and their needs.

This exam is different from an exam you do for a new glasses or contacts prescription. A medical eye exam takes a more in-depth look at your eyes to look for common vision diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and more. Modern technology allows us to detect these conditions before you even notice they’re there. But don’t wait! The sooner we know about any potential vision problems, the easier it is to correct before they start impacting your daily life.

Taking care of your eyes is imperative and medical eye exams are covered by medical insurance, including Medicare. So, if you don’t have vision insurance, you can still have your medical eye exams covered. If you have questions about whether or not our doctors are in your medical insurance network, feel free to call us! Our team would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

LASIK

If you’ve always wanted the freedom of LASIK, National Eye Exam Month is a great time to schedule your LASIK consultation. This consultation (which is completely free) will introduce you to your laser eye correction options, and we’ll evaluate which option you are the best candidate for. Plus, your initial consultation has no obligations. No strings attached, we promise!

After your consultation, we can get you scheduled for your procedure and get you Seeing Life Better as soon as possible. We can’t wait to meet you and get your clear-vision journey started!

Optometry for the Whole Family

Is it time for your next routine vision exam to check in on your glasses and contacts prescription? At Mann Eye Institute, we’re equipped to take care of all your vision needs, including your routine eye exams for you and your family. We have doctors skilled at adult optometry and pediatric myopia management. So whether you’re noticing that your prescription isn’t working as well as it used to or your child is having a hard time seeing the whiteboard at school, we are ready to help!

Plus, scheduling has never been easier! You can call to make an appointment, or you can visit our scheduling page and choose the next available time that works best for your schedule. It’s just that easy!

New Glasses and Contacts

If you or anyone in your family needs new glasses or contacts, we can help with that, too! Our optical shop is equipped with all of your favorite fashion brands for adults and kids. No matter your style, we’re bound to have something you’ll love!  Plus, we have a huge selection of contacts available to order, so no matter which brand and product best fits your needs, we’re able to help.
