I've had top up PRK surgery for keratoconus 5 month ago in left eye, prior to that I had crosslinking/prk combo. Right eye is perfectly fine and never had issues. Left eye now has a 25/20 vision but really bad starburst that create sort of a circle around any light source that goes in the upwards direction. The starburst is bigger as I look at further objects.
Having had astigmatism all my life I am no stranger to double vision but this time around after PRK its different because I mostly only get starburst when BOTH eye are open. Whenever I use each eye individually there is only about 10% of the starburst that remains and it occurs only in the left eye, with right eye vision is 100% clear.
So really I am experiencing Binocular double vision. Any ideas what is going on and is something wrong with my eye or does brain need time to adjust and become better at merging the images from both eyes combines.. because individually the eyes are satisfactory in terms of starburst.
