    Light dragging across lense – why is this happening?

    What could cause these spots on an Ampler Grid to be invisible? I went to an optometrist on Thursday, they dilated my eyes and could not see anything wrong with my retinas. I had the test where air was blown on my eyes, nothing was said about the results along with retinal images.

Why all Zeiss lenses in the local optics allow up to 2.00 cylinder?

I have astigmatism: -1.00, -2.75 cyl and 175,175 Ax, so want to order a frame with Zeiss lenses, unfortunately all the lenses say up to 2.00 cylinder and I have 2.75. What can be done? Anyone with cylinder >2, what lenses do you use?
