As far as I know, there hasn't been any research paper in a reputable journal that claims to have witness myopia reversal in humans. In monkeys, chicks, yes. In humans, not so far. That is, none known in any of the communities that attempt to naturally improve their eyesight that I am aware of. I might have just found The Holy Grail. On PubMed!
Ok, the study didn't really attempt to prove that point but they did anyway. Here it is:
REVIEW. 2 to 3 D. Reading Glasses to Prevent Myopia
The conclusion is that positive ( ) Add lenses, used as reading glasses during study, can prevent the development of myopia of college students in pilot training.
That's a good start, right?
Table 1 is the most impressive.
They've witnessed people with low myopia (- diopter) turning into low hyperopia ( diopter).
The control group where people that were not given reading glasses.
The test group where people that were given reading glasses.
Control group subject #1:
start:
- L −0.75
- R −0.75
after 9 months:
- – 1.25 D
- −1.25 D
Test group subject #5:
start:
- L − 0.50 D
- R −1.25 D
after 9 months:
- L 0.25 D
- R 0.50 D
Eh? Did test subject #5 just get rid of -1.25 diopter of myopia? Even turned that into 0.5? And that only in 9 months?
But this is just a teaser. Read the study for yourself. Sharing it here so you can correct me if I am interpreting it wrong.
