Hi all,
I’m a 23 yo and had myopia since I was born. My current prescription is -16.5R and -14L. I’ve never really felt like having bad eyesight has hindered me throughout life, and I never really have thought about it much growing up.
However, recently I have started looking into it more and have some questions about what I might expect when I get older.
Should I be expecting to different eye conditions such as glaucoma? I have always been aware of retina detachment, but reading about what glaucoma can do later in life sort of scares me.
Would love some advice from anyone who’s had glaucoma develop, and whether I am at risk of possibly even going blind when I eventually grow old. Thanks
