We all know how the human eye is supposed to work. Both eyes superimpose their respective images to create one single image. Theoretically , when I look at something , it should feel like I'm looking with both the eyes simultaneously, right ? But that's not happening with me. While looking at something large enough ( let's say , the mobile phone as a whole and not just the characters on the screen ) , I feel my brain is focusing more on the right eye ( but actually both eyes are working together , that I am confident about , but it's just the feeling ).
The problem arises when I'm looking at something that's comparatively smaller , let's say , the screen right now , the characters are small. When I'm trying to read from the screen ( mobile , lappy , etc ) my brain is only focusing on the right eye , and the left eye is wandering about.
Is this supposed to happen ? And should I be concerned ? I had an eye examination just 2 months ago , and before that with my previous prescription , I wasn't having this issue.
Note : I'm highly myopic ( -4 left eye , -9 right eye ).
