Does this happen to anyone else? For instance, if I am looking at some text and it is blurry/double vision, sometimes if I stare at it for a few seconds without blinking, it comes into clear focus. This lasts for a few seconds and I can look at other objects for a bit (with clear focus) before it goes back to how it was. This isn't just slightly better vision, I mean when it happens it is like I have my glasses on.
What gives? I have a hunch that because of the amount of close work I do and have done in my life, the eye muscles for distance have either not been allowed to develop, or have not been utilised enough, so my eyes have lost the ability to use these muscles consistently. Does this sound right?
Surely this wouldn't be able to happen if my myopia was due to my physical eye shape?
