For background, I'm 25 and think it started 2-3 years ago. My distance vision wasn't as sharp, sometimes things in the distance were less clear, signs a bit fuzzy until I got closer but nothing terrible. It never felt like it was hard to see so I wasn't sure it was a temporary effect of being in front of a screen for most of the day (I was in school) or if I was actually becoming nearsighted. Well, now it seems like this is how my eyes are; I'm -1.25 in the left and -1.00 in the right and now I wonder if that actually started recently, if I caused it or maybe I was already progressing to a small amount of myopia since childhood and it's only just gotten noticeable?
I've heard that people's eyes settle at some point in their 20s so is this as “bad” as it's going to get? (I know it's not that bad) Or is there chance it could worsen?
