Hey I’m 14yrs and I think I’m starting to get Myopia. I haven’t been diagnosed professionally, but I think it’s obvious. When I look at my computer, phone, etc from a little distance and not close up the screen gets all blurry (like really blurry). I think the distance is a little more blurry then before but that’s about it. I think the cause is probably being on the screens too long, or just straining my eyes in general, doing art, being on my phone etc. I’ve noticed especially letters are going blurry all around. Definitely not genetic cause no one in my family has it or even distant family. I’ve also seen ppl start to get Myopia at my age get it, so it’s possible I have it (or I’m starting to). I’ve seen things about slowing it down, but since it’s not that bad I want it to completely go away. Looking at a screen not even 1 foot away and seeing it go really blurry is really making me anxious. People also say that it can be reverse and that exercises work but there isn’t really any hard proof except for laser eye surgery. I’ve seen people be hard core saying it’s possible to improve your eyes or others saying it’s all BS, so idk what to think. I’m also kinda scared to got to the eye doctor(I forgot the name sorry) pressuring me to get glasses or something bc I’ve read it just makes it worse and I don’t really need it rn. But ofc ill end up going if it gets any worse. So is there anything that I can do to make my eyes better?? Has any of y’all made your eyes better?? Give me some hope 😭
Btw sorry if there are any mistakes in the paragraph or if it’s not pretty in general. I’ve written this quickly. 💔
